i'm still really distracted this week..*pulls hair* i hope to really start focusing!!!!!!!! eve and i say we will go watch hse of flying daggers...that shall be my motivation to work hard for the new wk *takeshi kaneshiro* hahah
we have new deco in our classrm!! we pasted a lot of photos on the wall...reminded me of the cute kids at service learning..tho some were unbearable...haiz..thinking closely, sch's coming to an end really soon...awwww....so gonna miss it....surprise i'll miss sch :) mainly due to the ppl and just the place itself brings back lotsa memories.
 
i was just thinking abt how much i've changed since pri sch...like in a totally different frequency...well, i feel at least. pri sch shapes the fundamentals and basis of ur morals while in sec sch, i think it's the experience and also the absorbent period,....ur mind really takes in a lot. also the decision making stage.
 
taking NE quiz tmr...rmb we were doing in pri sch in the comp lab...oh...ph is almost done..the exterior. painting is almost done...*surge of nostalgia* i miss the old bldg

mindy and i decided to do sth meaningful with our lives, cos her bro's fren died of brain tumour. so we hope to volunteer at the NKF children's fund during dec hols. sighz...the frailty of human life.
 
went for the fashion parade rehears. total waste of my precious time!! arggh..any sane tcher wud noe that we cant afford to spend so much time on unimportant stuff. i'm desperately looking for scrap fabrics but the class ain't giving any response *faints* except a few...and i've got this totally cool new idea *beams*
 
chem pract today involved so much heating!! and the lab wasnt exactly very cool so our sweat was pouring..like eve says "xia yu" (raining)...i love chem pract for the nice colours, like copper(ll)sulphate *beams* woohoo...emaths test on wed...hope i can pull thru the 2 topics...i have been really slack the past wk, so i'm going to concentrate this wk, meaning using very little comp :) *curbing the urge to use the net*

i got stung by a bee yesterday!! it was on my head!! and i thot it was a drop of water, since it was raining. so i swept it off and uit stung me..i went to sch and got the rcy-s to help me...haha, it's fine now *phew*
i'm so gonna miss my sisters when they are gone!! though sometimes i feel that i can have more freedom that way, sometimes i also think i will be real lonely.
well, i read yining's blog and i thot her case was really similar to mine, like my mum thinking that my dream job is one that has no future and is low-paying...but tht's not true! i mean, yeah, things can be risky, but u have to try it first b4 u even give up that thot. however, yining, u MUST have a backup plan, for practical purposes. i dun think parents are so easy to convince!
 
haiz...emaths and chi tests next wk...hope i can do the emaths one properly..there's so much to rmb..*bleagh* i realy pity 404 cos mrs C took them for orals and they got ultra low marks....so sad! glad i got hals. for mine-- he's quite lenient.
tmr got pe again! yay! hope it doesnt rain. oh, i have already planned the things that i will do after my exams

2) Burn all my books and worksheets!! (ha, we thot of having a barbecxue fire from burning bks!)
3) tidy up my place
4) find an internship with law firm or fashion company (exciting!)
5) figure out how to do my own blog template
6)write xmas cards

orals was not (that) bad at all! niwae, racial harmony day rocks totally...our class was so fun lah, nearly everyone wore saris *pays tribute to our roots of the muthusamy family* yeah, so as expected, lots and lots of photo-taking sessions and we were sad to part with our beautiful saris at the end cos it's probably gonna be the only time we wear it...till god knows when. our class won 3rd for the concert, so we have this neon coloured mech. pencil each. *claps claps* well, but thot prev yrs were more interesting, with the henna paintings and all

haf u read the commonwealth winning essay? it's good..no wonder huh? choir photo-taking tmr! well, apparently the choir enjoyed the exchange with the american choir. said they taught them line dancing. well, i think exchanges are fun. well, when we had exchange with acs(b) earlier this yr, there were ppl not knowing how to play whacko!! vei and i were quite shocked! i mean,...i thot it's a very orientation game...and they took quite long to understand...does tht say sth? *rubs chin*

oh man....it's orals tmr...*prays hard for a good pic* but i heard mr halsall is a nice examiner...

Mean Girls was really really nice! Kinda like a typical teenage chic flick, but it has substance! I encourage all girls to watch it...it really takes a girl to understand some of the emotions involved, and we understand the bitchiness better :). our row was luffing so loudly!! yah, so moral of story (meaningful) is tht being cool or popular really doesnt matter -- u will not feel any happier than before.

yay!! it's wkend! but tmr early in the morn, there's eng lesson. not exactly the most pleasant of all things to see HER face the first thing in the morn. oh wellz..there was this percussion grp that came to perform at assembly today! quite cool! with all the cuban, indian, brazilian drums and perc. instruments. and it was xiumin's first time conducting and her hand was in a hamster like position...haha, she looked so blur!

u noe wat? 9 works out of 12 selected from our sch won prizes and commendations for commonwealth essays!!! how cool is tht!! and there was this sec 3 gal who won the top prize for category a i think..and won 500 pounds!!!!!!! u noe, if i have tht kind of money, i will go and buy a violin! and fulfill my violin dream!!

eve and janice came up with this really brilliant business idea, inspired b the keychain on janice's pencil box- to design slippers (flip flops) and brand is Funky Flip Flops (F cube)- Slip it on. haha, quite fun, then i 'freelance' for them. the 2 of them are always up to sth...well, but i think this is quite a feasible idea actually.

i am disliking eng more and more...for obvious reasons... wanying feels tht way too! hah. oh, racial harmony day next wed *excited* but nxt day got chem test...

School gave us this limited edition 'RGS tin' as a souvenir to commemorate the inaugural of RP this yr. It has a mini t-shirt tht says raffles,'04 and shoelaces, which arent very nice. But nonetheless, i think its a wonderful gift! haiz...i'm starting to feel sad abt the final farewell...everytime i step into sch, i will wonder, how many more days are left, when i can step into this sch gate. sch kinda sux in some ways but when u leave it, u really start to appreciate it...human irony

oh yah, eve and janice (up to some mischief again), they keep on holding ktv sessions, with songs ranging frm teresa teng, to the corrs, to ou de yang, to jay chou, in the middle of lessons...with eve's self-replay ou de yang song. time to learn new songs!!

i'm 3/4 way done with Da Vinci Code. It's exciting manz...but it's against Christianity.But, well, can take it from a speculative perspective i suppose? i wud really love to see the art works they mention for myself, and see if what it says is true.

sighz..everyone's falling sick! haiz, on my way home today, there was this chao act cool guy..ACb one...wah..i was walking quite a dist. behind him mah, then he probably heard me walking, then he turned arnd..so he knows i'm behind lah. then he very shua xin ge and act cool, conveniently threw this pc of litter on the grass..i wanted to tell him "not obvious AT ALL". as if he purposely litter in front of me liddat...weird. but the world's full of weird ppl

mtg the new comm tmr! *happy* to pass on stuff to them, and educate them, cos our seniors didnt give us any tips etc, but well, it's gd tht we had the chance to figure out stuff on our own.

yay!!! finished weathering summary! prelims are SOO near! my eng orals are nxt wk *shudders* it's so scary to know tht JC entrance is based on this...

my dad drove past the half done Pei hwa bldg. it's so tall..like a mini concrete jungle. gone is the wide open courtyard where we had morning assemblies and PE lessons, and those big steps lined with pots of bougainvillea..aww...i really miss pei hwa, the ppl, the tchers, even the bldg! haha

went for the law career talk and the guy was saying the pays were how high..but tht's not the main pt. but i'm afraid it's not for me...argghh...hate thinking abt all these..

had career talk for CLE jus now...went for entrepreneurship. tmr's law. i'm considering law as a second option cos the chances my mum will let me do fashion are like 1%? so i'm quite looking forward to the talk tmr. it's complicated to think abt ur future...so dun think unnecessarily...haha.

the class video is finally finished!!! pei and i have watched it over and over for a few thousand times..haha. but very happy with the results..now we r so pleased with ourselves. oh, bond has got a new album..haha, hinted mindy liao..up to her to take actions *beams* quite pleased with the geog test..well, i made this summary of crustal movements which i am very proud of! was so motivated.

looking back on my past yr, it has been wonderful, magical, almost surreal. i've learnt so much this yr working with the choir and my perspective of choir has changed so much it's shocking...but i am really glad the tchers and the prev comm gave me this chance. really, it has been a great chapter in my life.

getting late, so am leaving this short and sweet :)

had farewell jus now and cried so much. the juniors made this video/ slide show thing that was so touching..to me. even though there were jus pictures, it jus brought bakc so much memories. i think the literarily stepping down thing was quite funny...mus be debbie's idea. it feels weird to see the new comm. cos not long ago, it was us who were in their position. i think our term had been exceptionally short, cos our concert was so early in the yr. and i think i'm in a state of denial or delusion...sometimes i wud wonder if i was really part of the comm. 'was'. tht makes me feel sad. i am not too sure why either. maybe i feel that our term had been too short and i'm not ready to part with the choir. it's funny how my feelings for choir undergo such drastic changes within a yr. jus ask sharon and mindy abt my complaints the prev yrs. i cant believe it...4 yrs jus flew past like that.

the sec 3s organised this toilet treasure hunt thing. well, quite creative but not very organised...heh. i got lots of stuff frm the juniors but i lost this slipper keychain thing and i am feeling really sad :( and my rm smells of steph and siying's the body shop strawberry soap
. when we were singing all those trademark songs, i had this sudden realisation that it may be the last time i am singing those songs and i was just so overwhelmed. i STILL cant believe we have stepped down and handed over to the sec 3s...wish them all the best and hope they continue to bring the choir to greater hts.

went to fran's hse yesterday in an attempt to complete the class vid...and it failed. But niwae, she lives behind the sch, at this condo with an air con lobby and lift that stops right outside ur doorstep. how cool is tht. and, her key is her finger. there is this finger-print censor that she uses to open the door. the deco of her hse was rather javanese, asian style. with lotsa (my fave) dark wood and frosted glass. Lots of her dad's paintings too. oh..and pei and i were both staring at her plain silver dior..DIOR photoframes. well.what can we say? it's a rich men's world
