how do you celebrate ur cny? i dunno, but this yr i dun really feel like its the cny alrdy and partly also cos im not that close to my cousins, so cny its a very routine-y thing. but the food makes up for things of cos. but this yr kinda sucks cos there's tons of hmwk, and obviously im not in the mood to do them. argh. why do we have to grow up! have u ever wondered why u do all these work for? what for? why?

watched memoirs yest. nice nice nice. so nice. i think ancient japanese culture is so intriguing. and i think its so sad that the geisha trade died off, i mean, its a really beautiful art and their every movement is an art. i especially love the ending, ahha, but i think the ending was much sadder in the book. and i think ken watanabe suits the role of Chairman.

ITS A SIGN MAN. hahaha, there's project runway, sharon, and now ashley isham's success story on the papers. its surely a sign. and when i pointed out ashley isham to my mum, she gave that "oh no" expression and she must be thinking, this kid is getting off track, lead her back to the path of light. ah well. seems like i have to do things in the dark then. apply for all necessary things and when its done i shall tell her. more impactful. i know my chances are slim but im taking the chance. and i would really love to convince my mum that fashion is indeed a viable career option (how do you say viable in chinese?), not in singapore obviously. but start somewhere else. fashion is viable because it can never go extinct. why do so many ppl yearn for their gucci chanel lv and raid zara mango and topshop? cos fashion lives. of cos, that would be my ultimate dream. but otherwise, if im to follow the path of light and study something...conventional, i would still hope to find a job related to the fashion industry. ah well, life.

sharon, thnks for coming along to inject that passion into me again. im so blessed to have frens arnd me who appreciate my passion and interest and encourage me along the way. that's really precious.

it's 3 wks into sch and i alrdy feel the heat. i hate thursdays. long and draggy and not a wee bit enjoyable. sitting among science and humans ppl bursting with brain juices on which economist said what aint boosting my self esteem. yes. so thursdays suck. not to mention the huge pile of readings which jus beat arnd the bush and i cant qt get what they are trying to say. and also heaps of assignments.

project runway was..inspiring. debuting at NY Fashion Week is jus so drop jaw. that is what i really wanna do. fashion is my calling man. no matter how much my mum tries to discourage me by saying "eeyer, u have to sew all day and night" (i dun care mama!) and thinking that "if you wanna stike it rich u gotta find a nice 9-5 job" (not true mama!) i really dun care. i dun wanna look back when im old and regret not doing something that i've wanted to

im inclined to believe that my belongings are involved in some conspiracy to escape from me. its my calculator this time!! it must have eloped with my geog notes or SOMETHING. urgh. i hate losing things cos it jus makes me very disorganised

my mum agrees that the school day before any public holiday should be declared a holiday, esp when the public hol is on a tue. such a waste of time.

anyway, i FINALLY saw xiumai! hope to see her arnd often. i miss her blurness. eh, xiumai, be more blur hor! ok, so cny is coming. i am SO SO looking fwd to BAK KWA and WANG WANG! and my mum's choc chip cookies. YUM. oh, angbao too.

was watching project runway. it is darn cool. like NY fashion week. gosh. i'd really love to do up sth like an idea board, but i really hate to cut up my magazines!!!

thanks to my sis' bf, my songs from our old computer is retrieved. such as le regazze!! memories memories. of our seniors, Vocally In Power. Told ya im a memory-of-the-past person

you know your year is not gonna be too good when :

1) you cant get onto the crowded bus on your first day of school and have to cab
2) your alarm clock stopped sometime in the middle of the night and the alarm didnt ring on the second day of school
3) you are attempting your first tutorial and you get stuck several times along the way.

it's pretty frustrating and traumatising

first day of sch was ok.interesting to see the new j1s ( yes yes, i hear that, invasion of the rg girls) and popped in to watch thie orientation stuff. hahaha. we also realised that our jokes frm last year are not very funny anymore, like ppl and things. BUT we spotted little noddy!! the little noddy has the original noddy hairstyle! while the old noddy rebonded his hair. we shud make little noddy not do anything to his hair.

and the worst thing is i STILL cant find my hydro notes. which im pretty sure i brought home b4 the hols.gar.
