am watching cd's haute couture show on its website. and its darn cool. its this victorian gardner- themed show and its jus darn cool. i mean, how many shows have carriages on the shows and a garden setting!

i cant believe this!! school's over!! one year at jc!!!

i can still rmb clearly what we did on the first day of orientation. i hate in when time passes so quickly that i cant grasp it and its jus so fast that u feel a little lost sometimes. but it seems like u've done a lot of stuff...which is true too. but, oh well. that's half of jc life gone.

I HAVE TO MENTION THIS!!! this little creatures called mongoose (or mangoose?) are really hilarious!!!! whenever scotty whistles his birdy whistle, they will scurry up to the platform and squeeze together and stare at scotty. its so hilarious!!!

some stuff happened over this week, drastic stuff. and all i can say is, what a sad loss of affinity. but im ok, its doesnt really stick in my mind anymore. and i'm someone who holds on to the past, clinging on to those memories very tightly, and i guess its sometimes a bit hard to accept that ppl and things change and deviate frm the memories that i cling on so tightly to. but i guess, in life, different ppl deal with things differently and ppl have different outlooks. to u: i'll be perfectly fine with u in sch, so no need to avoid me or anth.

thanks to scotty for his surprise!! :) and thanks to y for being the accomplice. nxt time be more sneaky pls! ahhaha. hmm, bond's 3rd album...hmm, i dunno, its not as impressive as the prev. 2. maybe cos they include lots of very popular songs like canon in d and hungarian rhapsody..and it jus doesnt sound special/unique...and in fact, i think this album is not very bond-ish. but oh well! bond's albums are the only ones that i will buy real ones for! ahha, i cant exactly rmb how i came to like them so much...

little things always birng abt surprises!! i took part in NOISE SINGAPORE some time back, and it was jus for fun. its this art/design competition thing, for many categories. and mine was one of...6 or 7 chosen for the fashion/accessories section!! heehee!! i submitted 2 entries, one for fashion one for accessories and the latter won. was invited to this opening ceremony at rouge club but it was the 2nd day of promos..:( but im jus glad that this small little participation actually brought many surprises for me! now, they want ppl to vote for their fave works. the top 20 artists will get to go for some designers' forum? sth like that. so please vote for me!! thnks!

today's pw dry run was bleagh. i cant stand pw anymore and on 8th nov, i shall say gd riddance! wanted to go to the zoo but it rained so we wandered arnd singapore on a bus..ahhah, not really lah, only to choa chu kang area, and eventually took mrt to our entertainment centre. HAHAHAHA. had fun playing PS!! i havent played for 2 yrs i think..ever since my neighbour moved. and BISHIBASHI AND sth RANCHER HOP ABOUT ITS DAMN FUNNY!!!!! omg!!!! yw and i luffed like mad and we kept pushing each other arnd..hahaha, ok, maybe i pushed her more! ahhahahaha. and when we play those car racing games our body will move with the car too..ahahha, hilarious. had a grt time today!!!

what hurts me most is that how things change, ppl change, and maybe i myself too, changed.

i hate pw. and i think my grp shouldnt have chosen this topic..and i came up with this topic for PI. and i hate it now. it's abt recycling and its sth that's not NEW at all and every moment we come up with an idea, NEA comes up with or reinforces sth they alrdy have, which makes our project unoriginal. AND our presentation isnt even done, when the dry run is on tue, and THE WORST. is that, i jus found out that we had put a wrong diagram on the written report. and its qt a bad mistake cos it totally left out one of the items and the percentages dun even add up.

im damn stressed now and have a tendency to shout at ppl now.

went jogging jus now. my my...my stamina dropped like SO much and i could barely run 4 rounds. not even 400m each. that shows that fitness needs to be maintained man!

was jus packing some of my drawers. my drawers have the most interesting and randomest assortment of stuff in them. i have lots of notebks, random craft stuff, cross stitch cloth and thread, sewing kit, unused christmas cards, lots of henna (PLEASE GET FRM ME IF U NEED FOR RACIAL HARMONY OR DEEPAVALI). oh, and this notebk that i started which i will write in every 16 yrs of my life..haha, kinda like recording the events in my life and my thots at each phase. and i keep lots of letters that people write to me (angel/mortals, seniors, friends). all these will go to another big blue box in another rm at the end of every yr. that box has xmas cards and letters and every sort of memorabilia u can think of. and i kinda renew the stuff in that box every yr.
i also have this "pri sch box" which has some of the stuff frm pri sch - like that phony velcro prefect tie, a graduation class photo which i look hilarious in, my report bk and this pc of paper on which everyone signed.
oh, besides, i also have a habit of keeping plastic/paper bags that are nice or jus handy. i always believe that things will come to a gd use one day (and they do!) so my drawer has a collection of plastic/paper bags of all shapes and sizes. also have this stack of postcards which i dun use anymore.
and in another rm, i have this secret hide out for some stuff..*shhh* hahah, i have lots of fabric left frm choir last yr (being the costume i/c) really really lots of them. in all colours and materials. like a mini spotlight. so if u happen to need any fabric, i am the one u're looking for.
and i've still got much more things to go. but that shall be cleaned up another day!

well, i do have a lot of stuff, but they're all well hidden and stuffed away somewhere, so all in all, it still looks fairly tidy!

i think iw as conked out for most of today. whenever i got on a bus, i slept for the WHOLE journey, till i reach my destination. must be the pile up of the lack of slp frm past few days. met eve in the evening and talked abt sch life, sch things and ppl, and how things have changed frm the past, etc. always nice to catch up with old frens!

oh well, time to slp! im planning to wake up early to go jogging tmr! woohoo! healthy lifestyle man!

today's trip to sch was qt a waste of time. i wud rather they let us stay late yest then go to sch for some insignificant stuff. the econs s paper talk wasnt that helpful either.

am currently reading catcher in the rye. accg to r, sich angsty writing was a brkthru at that time (40s/50s) it's qt pleasant to read. simple words and sentences, not mind boggling ones like heart of darkness (which after reading u still dun get the meaning). i dun have too gd a feeling abt HOD for nxt yr, cos i really dun understd it!!

am also currently practising to reduce my reliance twds the net cos i have qt plenty of other stuff to do, besides whiling time away on the net doin useless stuff. mtg eve later and hope to catch up with her. miss her chatter and cheerfulness :)

today was qt a pleasant day! and im rather pleased with my results :)

went out to town with p and y and we spent helluva long time at gramophone (scotts picnic food centre, right at the back) it has a wide wide range of music and movies and i got this 2nd hand jazz lounge cd for 6. pretty nice, very relaxing. i like the song 'the girl frm Ipanem' (p's recommendation!)

sch is soooo dreadful now. why cant they have "play sessions" as post promo activities!!

well, i guess jc life has put me into a thinking-intensive position. im always made to reflect on certain things etc. and i've been put thru several tests which have made me realise who/ what are the most impt in my life.
my bday resolutions are to be more mild tempered, more patient. and more..but i cant rmb..

yest was helluva fun time!!!!! and the movie part was really hilarious!!! haha, rach asked me what do i usually do at home. and i said bum arnd. cos seriously, there's nth much to do after exams, except, eat, slp, watch tv, surf net, read, cross stitch, making jewellery. there u go, my typical day.

im dreading sch tmr!!! i hate mondays!!!

my picture's screwed! argh...arab st is qt a nice place! but mostly just fabric shops (good if u want to tailor make sth) and a no. of bead shops. THEY ARE WONDERFUL. they sell big big big big packs at wholesale prices though not a lot of variety, but gd enough! its always refreshing to walk arnd new places instd of the usu place (town) . so i guess we'll be going there again!

today's geog was ok..passed pretty quickly. oh..i was doing cross stitch while grace was reading her harry potter while we were gathering weather data. BUT my stitching needle disappeared mysteriously!!! then we went to holland v, this time with rach anf grace too..but the dun seem to like it as much as yw n i did. haha..there are so many pet shops there!! but so sad the kittens we saw were gone!!!!! :(

having cool outing with yw and p tmr..hahaha! must enjoy our last day of fun to the MAX! i dun want sch to start!!!!!

went to sch for a geog briefing on howt o use the weather data logging equipment so that we can use it for tmr's fieldwork of analysing the weather data arnd bishan. (yeah, thts what geoggers do...hahah) not particularly interested but oh well...

HAHAH, yw and i managed to affect p and rach to start making jewellery too!!! hahah, they are our disciples now! it's a really nice hobby :)

oh, niwae, if u havent known, aedes mozzies have white stripes and are extremely evil. kill them.

i just got bitten by a freaking aedes mozzie. 4 bites! and i took revenge by killing it. hope im strong enough not to fall sick. and i sprayed lots and lots of mozzie mortein arnd the rm.

HOLLAND V IS MY NEW LOVE!!!

yw brought me to holland v to check out the bead shop, shall tok abt it later. holland v rocks man! the shopping centre had really exotic stuff, not those stuff that u see all arnd town! nice accessories and handcrafted items, and there was this lim's art and living-furniture and lifestyle shop. and yw and i kept thinking abt how we will put so much effort into decorating our own hse nxt time....ahh....

so we spent and hr plus at the shopping centre, then went to the bead shop, which was qt a big disappointment. i was really expecting to see very nice stuff lotsa cool crystals and beads. but no. the stuff there were very plastic looking and cant even compare to the faux crystals i get frm where i usu buy my stuff at far east.

well, besides the disappointment, the rest of holland v was nice! and the starbucks there was kinda cool, very cosy feeling. went to taka to meet rach and ate. there was this fashion show going on in taka, but hmm, cant compare to the haute couture ones during SFF. not telling u when or what SFF is, if u havent known. if u are interested in haute couture, u shud look out for stuff like this urself, jus like i did :)

OH..i must mention! we passed by this pet shop in the holland v shopping centre. they had baby parrots that were DARN cute!!!!! they were so small, and too cute to be real! there was this blu and greyish-white one, SO CUTE! and a pair of yellow/ green ones, with bright red beaks. their eyes are so round they look fake DAMN CUTE. then, there was also 3 kittens!!!! i only like kittens..i dun like cats, some look evil, and they're very cold. the kittens were like furballs! and one was playing with this tinsel pompom. SO CUTE!!!! and there was this sikly terrier pup. awww...and there were abt 5 baby rabbits too! and some guinea pigs. AH! i want to live in the pet shop!!!!

oh well, living a brainless life has nv been better!

hahah, even though the papers are over, i dun feel that IMMENSE joy or relief, just feel happy that i can finally start cancelling off tasks from that to-do-list. hoohoO! it's tv time frm 7-9, now...hahha, cos there are 2 shows on scv that are nice, one is my fave, the other is another palace-concubines' fight for status show..which is not bad...

yeah, and i will start clearing away the mounds of wksht stacked up on my table. am adding testis for ppl on frenster now! sth that i hardly do...hahah...and and!! i have so many bks to read, so many earrings to make, and perhaps start some photog streak....when my cam comes back.


well, the paper ended damn early...at 8.50 am and obviously no shops were open then. hail coffeebean for being the only place to hang out at that time. so we had brkfast, and we spent qt a lot of time at kino, looking at my wonderful fashion illustration books. but it was only abt 12. so we went to far east and walked arnd (my shoes! heehee) and eventually met up with yw to chill at big o. hahh, there was this toy shop opp it, and they sell those really cute mini house stuff! aww...like little sets of kitchen furniture, sofa, dining table, and also mini sets of clothes and shoes! then we went to invest 1 buck in a capsule keychain. i got the pooh heffalump one! so cute! then we whiled more time away at borders b4 we headed home. soo...there's gonna be no mental processing involved in my life frm now till sch reopens. ta~
