i finally remembered what i wanted to blog about. the new JAMES BOND. i saw the casino royale trailer and i cant believe they got that guy to be bond lah! i mean i think there's no lack of better looking actors around (ok after googling i found some nicer pics of him) but still, i think he lacks that bond factor. both rachel and i think that pierce brosnan is still the best bond. you know bond should be like suave, and very cool while doing all the stunts but i think the new bond lacks it leh...hahah

man..i jus realised that this chinese show i'm watching has some lesbian thingamajig...and up till where i watched i thought it's just sisterly love. check it out here gu lian hua

phew. i finally completed my ucas and it shud be on its way to ali. haha, i have procrastinated for damn long alrdy. everytime i do such serious matters i will always be very scared and want to double triple quadruple check. that's why i took so long ahha. man, i wonder what life has in store for me...everytime i see ppl doing US apps and packing their envelopes, looking very pro, i will be damn envious but aiyah, for the fuss-free me, ucas will do ahha. don't you wonder what you'll be doing next yr? i mean all these choices and decisions are gonna decide your future. and i just hope life has a surprise ( a nice one!) for me.

these days at the library have been boring but fun at times. like how rachel is high on seemingly nothing today and our paper aeroplanes with grace and her "bf's" face on it (they're pilots!) and our numerous teh peng breaks in the canteen. sigh...i want it over and done with!!! but it'd feel a little awkward to know that sth you've been preparing for so long is soon to be over. but who cares. im alrdy looking fwd to the post A's spree and frantic prom dress hunting!!! (onlyhave abt 8 days to do that!!!) it's like we've been talking abt it for so long and finally it's really really near.

yest, rachel (my bday matey!) celebrated our bday at my hse with some of the class. my dad and i even put up balloons like it was a 3 yr old's party ahha! it was quite a new feeling for me cos i had never really had a bday party before and i don't really enjoy crowds that well, because of awkward silences and moments. well, besides the fact that they were bored of my hse cos i have no games, no vcds, NOTHING to do at my hse, it went pretty well. i liked the fortune telling part (though its proven inaccurate!) and the hilight of the day must be project L (inside joke!) and rachel's expression was PRICELESS.

im SURE that there is a lit bk thief going around. or some locker spirit that steals books. grace lost her m4m and robert frost, rachel lost her robert frost and I the UNLUCKY SOUL. lost 2 BOOKS WITHIN A TERM. i really have no IDEA at all where they've gone! i have even pulled out my drawers to see if they've fell behind, and NO they are NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. but on the other hand, i've no idea who could have broken into my locker, i mean the few of us who borroweach other's lockers sometimes would know one and another's combi but that can only limit the possible ppl down to 3 or 4 who could have taken them home wrongly. or maybe there's a THIEF GOING ARND STEALING LIT BKS COS THEY DUN HAVE THEIR OWN TO STUDY. if you're whoever i know and you're reading this and you see my name YAP ZHI XIN on the first page of the bks WOMAN WARRIOR AND HEART OF DARKNESS and you feel guilty, pls return it. if i really cant findthem and none of my frens have taken them by mistake, im going to the office estate management and request to look at the security videos or sth. it cant be so many lost bks from one row of lockers. that's the song the squigs performed for our seniors during their prom and that seems jus like yest. thought the lyrics are pretty appropriate for this point in time, now that we've reached the end. it really hasnt sunk in yet but we have reached it. and i cant help but wonder where the days have gone - complaints, complaints but now that it's gone we learn to treasure it.

that day my dad was just explaining to me the story behind the 1812 overture, and that reminded me of my interest in music some yrs ago. and dropping piano will be that eternal regret at the back of my head. and that also reminded me that there's sth else i ought to do post A's, which is going for a concert/performance! i havent done that for REAL long. hmm, that last performance i went was dance night, which seemed really really long ago. and anyway, phantom of the opera is coming to sg!!!! for 07 march! if you wanna go please tell me! hahaha, i hope that i can make it for this singapore run. $50 for students

sigh. 3 more days to the official end of day. it's a mixed feeling i think. will miss geog lessons cos i love the small grp and the interaction with the teachers, and some teachers, friends...somehow this 2 yrs were very transient. i cant say i love my sch, because i think that only comes when you are very attached to ccas, hse or groups which im not obviously (check out my wondrously short cca form) but i will miss its environment as well...im really glad i got to stay and of cos i will miss my favouritest junior aminah! sigh...its hard to put into words, with everything going so fast
