now i understand why shopping is dubbed retail THERAPY. well, shall start with my day first

tchers' day celebs in sch today, but the 4 of us went to say hi to our ct and ran off..hahah! we went j8 for a mac's brkfast. on the way there, we met mm and her husband! my gdness! hahahah, phew she was in a gd mood. then i proceeded to taka coffeebean to wait for steph and xinyi to call. our class is pathetic lah!! everyone's so uninterested abt going back...budden again, the tchers i really wanna se are not there anymore (tan mt went scgs!!!!) yeah, so qt sad lah. so there were only 3 of us. we went to eat lunch after that, and toked abt crappy ppl in our classes/ schools and crappy tchers. then i went home,and i slept on the bus and overshot 2 stops and had to wait very long for the bus on the opp side to get home...gar.

then my mum, sis and i went out to shop at far east. far east shoes are imported frm china, cos i saw this pair that was exactly like the one my sis bought when she went there..she bought for 6 sing..yeah. so we bought a nice cool denim bag!! (the longish, rectangular type. i really like bags of this shape) and a nice matt gold woven belt, and my mum got a shirt and a pair of shoes. my family works in a unconventional way. we dun get a fixed amt of allowance monthly, so we dun really buy things using our own allowance. besides, we share all our clothes, so we buy our clothes using our parents' money. gd :)

yeah, so now, im happy, and doing my trifo 2 rem ws. :)

im eliminating the studying of hydro 1 for the promos and will bank on geomor, which fortunately id one of my fave topics in geog.

trigo 2 has really escaped from me!! how!! i suddenly feel so weighed down and stressed.... so much work, so much to rmb. and when u realise u dunno sth, tht scramble to unravel the truth and be enlightened. why does studying seem like such a breeze to some ppl?

i think im really losing this tchers' day thing. the only tcher i genuinely wish to see again in rg would be mrs tan yh. but she's retired. she was such a motherly figure and she really made me understd chem and even like it! i felt like i had leapt frm 0 all the way up. the other tchers were impt to me and nice too, but those who left deep impressions were mrs tan and my pri sch tchers.

im getting broke again!! i had to draw on my surplus from past leftover allowances. now there's even a deficit..DANG!

rach was inspired by a human geog video that lee showed us, so yw, her and i headed down to j8 foodcourt and had teppanyaki! which i hadnt had in ages since the last time my mum ate the mushroom one (way back when i was still living in teck whye and we went to lot 1 all the time) and had food poisoning. yeah. it was qt nice, a little too spicy but oh well! i like chao da veg (but they're carcinogenic!!)

hmm, today is a totally unproductive day cos i came home abt 8 ( and missed my da chang jin!!) and went to my ah ma's hse. and once i came back i've started using the net.


it's qt tragic how this tchers' day things dies off? i rmb we used to go back to phpps every yr! even tho we jus stone there and nth to do, we were still physically there. then this yr, i bet everyone's gg back to sec sch (tho i dun hear of many 401 ppl who are interested...) and phpps is like, almost gone lah. :(

i think i've changed a bit this year, cos i have somehow decided that sometimes life's better if we care less abt considerations and watever holds u back

watched big fish jus now. it was gd! and i noticed the oompa loompa and the mum who coordinates dressing with her daughter in charlie, in the show. thought the show may seem very fantasical, i think the greater things behind the fantasy is meaningful.

i didnt do much today cos we went for dim sum lunch in the afternoon, then my mum and i went shopping at city link and raffles city. happy with the rewards :)

had s cube tok today..which was alrite lah. i like those saf videos though, qt inspiring and man, ain't their gadgets and gizmos cool! hahha, but NO WAY am i gonna enlist myself for ns. the rest of the tok was too ns based and it really didnt have much to do with the girls...i thot it wud be on national security or wat to do during emergency? i think tht wud be more useful and meaningful. well, but no matter what, im not one of those cynics who jus shrug off all these stuff as crap or sth. cos, im proud to be a singaporean and i think that its an amzing feat for a small nation to achieve so much in 40 yrs.

why subway u ask, cos today theres was this "al fresco" thing in sch (which really wast al fresco at all, but its fun!) where they got subway and andersen's frm denmark ice crm to come down. didnt buy the ice crm but me rach and grace got subs. and they only had tuna while we were craving for our cold cuts...AWWW...hhah, tht's why its on the list.

i'm tired of trying and hoping. and i feel like i'm losing two at once. what was may not mean that much to you but it does to me. i feel like i dun need to be there. it doesnt matter even if i am. you may not think much abt it, you may not understand. it doesnt matter what you say cos you jus cant understand and actions speak louder than words.now i feel like i should just devote my energy to work, at least i can get something tangible something more fruitful out of it. what a tragic way to see things, but im losing it

niwae had a wonderful time the past 2 days!! more slpovers (after promos) pls!! went swimming at scotty's and now my ear's stuck :( so after having much fun, its time to settle down and work hard for the promos! can't wait to plan me and rach's bday..it's gonna be double the fun since its a double bday!!!

im zoning in and out now - suffering frm major fatigue after last night and swimming this morning. reached home at about 4 and slept frm 5 - 6.30 and am going to slp rite now.. 10.03. sleeping late is baaaddd....messes ur body clock

hohohohohoho!!! exciting day coming up tmr! ive got 2 events back to back. how exciting! hhaha, i cant say anth else but exciting!!! hahahahah

today is a memorable day. hahah, our day of adventure. well, we were initially supposed to have a PW itnerview with the NEA person, but today, they're mtg students abt the plastic bags issue. We've been invited there, so we're techinically excused. So we jumped on tht fact and made use of it and went out. AND! everything was going our way! with mr q not there for econs, there's a grter incentive to leave sch riteaway. so we did, and we had mac's brkfast..which i hadnt had for qt some time. yum. then we went to town and went to slop arnd. at the better toy store, scotty and z actually started playing chess!!! like omg!! hahah, it was this giant sized chess set, qt cute. yeah, and there were so serious k..and the girls (yw, rach,me) started playing foosball. hoho! so fun. then, we went to watch land of the dead, which was m18. long story abt how we managed to get in, cos we had 2 valid ics tho none of us look like any of them. so rach n i went in first, cos the passes were female, and (after our plotting and scheming and coming up with many plans, we found out tht a door cud be opened frm inside the theatre and letting ppl frm outside in!!!!) and we managed to get scotty and zul in. it was qt thrilling! hhahaha, and later on we got g and c in too..hmm, wat delinquency!! ahaha. the movie's kinda crappy lah. i mean...hmm...haha, too lazy to say more.

there are only a few wonderful friends that come along in one's life. i thought i had found my wonderful friend, when things happen and distances me from __ .and sometimes..jus sometimes, i feel like im back to a square one, where somr colour seems to be drained away from my life. and im so glad that there are others arnd me to fill in my life and not make me feel so bad.

on a lighter note, today at the library was an hour well spent!! we had such a grreaaattt time luffing. it was qt empty today, when we went in during one of our 2 brks for mon. then lulu came and z came up with some funny idea of plotting to kill a certain somebody. omg...lulu's luffter is so infectious that yw and i cudnt stop luffing till our stomachs ached. then the old librarian came arnd our area to say, who are the 2 girls luffing so loudly, and we walked arnd to some pillar and pretended to be looking at some bks, then we escaped to the 2nd floor. well, then up there, we planned for yw's bday and we jus kept luffing cos yw makes ppl high! hahah. THEN somebody sneezed and z had to say "Bless YOu!" loudly and i jus cudnt hold it anymore!! hahaha, we were all so amused and high and happy we jus kept luffing. hmm. and isnt it wonderful that along with those luffters, maths qns are being completed! hahahah

went for a free concert - Beautiful Sunday, which is a series of free concerts at the esplanade- with my family. today's was the youth philharmonic winds (aka symphonic band). and i jus rediscovered the beauty of wind instruments. i always had a liking for strings, but oh well, i guess winds are really awesome too. who care abt crappy boybands, angsty lyrics and trashy tunes when ture music lies in all these wonderful instruments, waiting for the masters to create great music out of it?

have i said how grateful i am to have frens arnd me who are artistically-inclined, whether performing or fine arts.

went to sch to discuss pw and after that went to town for a while since rach didnt wanna go home so soon. so we went to visit the 4th level of taka, which is all the craft shops, like the book binders, the better art store (really cute stuff!! and toys for kids) and of cos! we went to art friends. superb!! WAY better than spotlight..hahah, but spotlight has the fabrics. hmm, yes, so we loved everything we saw, stencils, beads, painter's palettes, feathers, GEL WAX!! everything i've been so wanting to get when there was one outlet at bras basah. i got this charcoal pencil thing..makes one feel so pro when drawing with it. and there, i felt so glad that i have ppl like rach and yiwei arnd me to appreciate my passion and interest, and understand why i love craft SO MUCH. yiwei and i agreed that, if life wasnt abt money to keep surviving, we would jus take up some odd job and stay at home doing craft!
if i could ever do tht. i would first buy a sewing machine. i would be cross stitching, sewing pouches/ bags and clothes, making earrings and accessories, drawing and sketching, making little gifts like gel candles.
haha, tht's why i once had the idea of opening a handmade gifts shop, where i cvan transform my interest into cash.

life is never what u want it to be rite? doing what u love beats sitting in an office 24/5 staring at figures and squiggly words. dun waste ur life away

today was qt a high day, cos there was no geog lect, and we went to mac's to eat. and we luffed so much!! abt the freak show, and everything!! jus simply hilarious. oh! i must say, i found my spurt of motivation today!! and i made econs notes tht i had been planning to do since....sat!!? yeah, wonderful!!

first, i decided to go for movie as well, so i cabbed down to town. AND after i reached cine, i had to walk back to lido to meet my DEAREST GRACE. when i went up the escalotor, u ppl went down. when i came down, u ppl went up.. GRACE ALL THE THINGS I DO FOR U!! and i get this!!! hahahahahhahahhaha

well, charlie and the chocolate factory was not bad! the oompa loompas were simply amusing. but, i think the story's a bit dark and morbid for a kid's story. but oh well, johnyy depp's really psychotic, but he acts well! hahah. not too bad i wld say.

i think singapore can break a world record of having the most no. of people wearing red at the same time same place.

it's amazing how this patriotism works its way into our lives unconsciously! 99.999999% of the ppl at the padang actually bothered to wear red! i'm so proud of ourselves! the parade is really not tht great. plus the formations would have looked nicer from an aerial view, which means we might as well watch from home. HOWEVER. the aero-manouvres were unbeatable k!!! i think the coolest things were the airplane stunts and the fireworks! beats anything else! and enthu me actually waved the flag or tapped the tambourine as we were instructed to! hmm, a perfect case of successful NE. but, im seriously proud to be a Singaporean! well, the boring parts were jus the guards-of-honour and the uniformed grp stuff, and the song items. i think the national day songs are deproving. i can only rmb up to quan xin quan yi (by steph sun) which was..2 yrs back? nth can beat the gd old we are singapore or stand up for s'pore.

there were this 2 cute little girls sitting behind me and my sis, and they were so cute!!! they sang the national anthem SO loudly!! and they screamed when the fireworks came out. the younger told her dad that she was scared, and the dad said that if they were scared they can scream, so they screamed. SO CUTE!!!

my life is such a bore i seriously can die of boredom. plus the recent saga...hmm, i feel tht i need more things to happen in my life! doesnt help when ppl are abosorbed in their own world. and i feel like im back to a sqr one, feeling lonely again, doing things that i need to do but i dun really want to do.

maybe such a life is the gateway to the fun life? i dunno!! someone tell me. rescue my life from the grasps of boredom

i jus cant find that energy that i had during the jun hols to bring myself to do work. not to mention that my brain is alrdy saturated with info. im so worried for my CTs but my mind's not following my heart. and its doesnt help that PW SUCKS BIG TIME. i rmb the tarot cards reading told me to concentrate on my goal. but i jus cant find the energy to! help!

going for NDP tmr. but somehow, when u get to this age, the anticipation is gone. even though it has been yrs since the last NDP i attended, im jus not that interested in NDP alrdy. tho i do agree that the atmosphere makes one very patriotic. haha! well well, maybe it will change my mind? hahah
